Location and distances
The Hotel & Apartment Alpenland is situated in Obergurgl, in the upper Ötztal valley, at an altitude of 1,930 metres. Obergurgl lies at the head of the valley and is surrounded by mountains over 3,000 metres high.
In winter, the ski slope is right next to the hotel. It’s just a few metres from the ski storage room to the start of the run. This means you can ski in and out without having to travel any further.
In summer, hiking trails and other routes start in the immediate vicinity. The centre of Obergurgl and the nearest bus stop are about afive-minute walk away.
The apart agnes is situated at the southern end of Obergurgl. The village centre is about a five-minute walk away from there. The hotel is about a ten-minute walk away and the ski slope is about a two-minute walk away.

Half-board is provided in the hotel rooms. This includes a breakfast buffet and a multi-course evening meal with a variety of options.

Getting here and getting around
Travelling by car
You can reach Obergurgl by car via the Inntal motorway, taking the Ötztal exit. The road then leads through the Ötztal valley to Obergurgl.
From Germany, it is also possible to travel via the Fern Pass. During the summer months, the Timmelsjoch High Alpine Road can be used as a seasonal route from South Tyrol to Obergurgl.
Free parking is available right next to the hotel. Garage spaces can be reserved at the municipal car park. A charging station is available for electric vehicles (subject to a charge).
Train & Bus
Travelling by public transport
To travel by train, get off at Ötztal station. From there, regular buses run through the Ötztal valley to Obergurgl. If travelling by plane, the airports of Innsbruck, Munich and Salzburg are particularly convenient.
