The Gurgl ski resort often offers good conditions for skiing in spring snow right into late spring. Thanks to the ski-in/ski-out facilities, guests at the Hotel & Apartment Alpenland can head straight onto the slopes from the hotel. The morning hours are particularly good for skiing, before the snow softens as the day progresses. Sun terraces and mountain huts then offer the chance to take a break.

High-altitude ski tours in spring around Gurgl

In spring, challenging ski tours lead from Obergurgl to peaks such as the Liebener Spitze or the Hochwilde. Some of the routes cross glaciers and require alpine experience, suitable equipment and safe weather and avalanche conditions. The Alpincenter Obergurgl offers guided ski tours for a range of requirements and ability levels.

High-altitude training and pollen-free mountain air

The location of the Hotel & Apartment Alpenland at 1,930 metres provides ideal conditions for high-altitude exercise. Depending on snow and weather conditions, in addition to skiing, the first running and walking trails of the season can also be used. People with allergies often benefit from lower pollen levels than at lower altitudes. However, a completely pollen-free environment cannot be guaranteed.
