Winter walking trails in Tyrol

Winter hiking whilst on holiday in Obergurgl

Around Obergurgl in the upper Ötztal valley, groomed winter walking trails wind their way through the snow-covered mountains of Tyrol. The trails range from a short loop on the Hohe Mut to a longer route along the Gurgler Ache, and from easy sections to moderate walks. This means you can enjoy a winter holiday in Obergurgl even without skiing.

Hohe Mut Sattel Winter Walking Trail (No. 6)

Along the way, you’ll be treated to sweeping views over the Gaisbergtal and Rotmoostal glacial valleys, as well as the surrounding three-thousand-metre peaks.
