### Timmelsjoch High Alpine Road

The Timmelsjoch High Alpine Road is one of the most famous motorbike routes in the Eastern Alps and winds its way over to Italy via around 60 hairpin bends. Situated right on the route in Hochgurgl is the Top Mountain Motorcycle Museum, Europe’s highest-altitude motorcycle museum at 2,175 metres. It displays around 580 historic motorcycles as well as some 40 cars and makes for a worthwhile stop on the journey over the pass.

### Motorcycle tour along the Kaunertal Glacier Road

The Kaunertal Glacier Road is a scenic route that climbs to an altitude of around 2,750 metres. Over a distance of 26 kilometres, you’ll navigate 29 hairpin bends on your way to the glacier region at the Weißseeferner. The road is open all year round and offers a continuous high-altitude experience for anyone who appreciates long stretches of bends and alpine vistas.

### Hahntennjoch & Namlostal

The Hahntennjoch connects the Lech Valley near Elmen with the Inn Valley near Imst. Grippy tarmac, tight hairpin bends and steep gradients characterise the route through the Lech Valley Alps. The Namlostal valley that follows features an almost unbroken succession of left- and right-hand bends. Both toll-free sections run through the Tyrolean Oberland and can easily be combined.

### A motorbike tour of the Dolomites

A tour of the Dolomites is ideal for a long trip. You can reach the Dolomites and return via the toll-free Brenner federal road, which leads to South Tyrol without any tolls. The route combines long stretches through valleys with striking mountain passes.

The high-altitude alpine roads are open depending on the season. The best time for motorbike tours in the Ötztal valley is during the summer months.
